Our final Roald Dahl book this week is George's Marvellous Medicine! I just love this book and remember reading this for the first time as a child.

I'm going to share with you a yummy children's mocktail, a drinkable one!

Berry Slushies, makes 2

  • 300g frozen berries

  • Juice of 1 lemon

  • handful of ice cubes

  • 2 glasses of cloudy lemonade

  • 2 tsps of honey

  1. In your blender add the ice cubes, berries, honey and 2 glasses of lemonade

  2. Cut the lemon in half and remove any visible pips

  3. Squeeze the lemon into a small bowl and take out any pips you have missed

  4. Pour the lemon juice into the blender and blend until you get a smooth slush

  5. Serve in tall glasses with a straw and a long spoon, with some fresh berries on top!
