It's National Biscuit Day today! What is your favourite biscuit??
I thought I would share one of my favourite biscuit recipes with you for you to give a go at home. It is perfect for little hands to make and really easy to follow!
Enjoy x

Lemon Curd Biscuits
What You'll Need:
125g butter
70g sugar
170g plain flour
Lemon Curd
Baking Tray
What To Do:
Before you start put on your apron and wash your hands, ask your grown up to preheat Oven to 180c.
Beat the butter and sugar together until pale and fluffy.
Mix in the flour. Mix until it is in a ball, if the dough is a little sticky then add some extra flour. Once the flour is mixed in you might find it easier using your hands!
Divide the dough into approx. 8 balls onto a baking sheet. Flatten each ball slightly with the palm of your hand to a biscuit then press a dent in the middle of the biscuit, thumbs and fingers are perfect for this! Repeat with the remaining balls.
Spoon a little lemon curd into the dips you have made in each biscuit. Then ask a grown up to put into the oven for about 8-12 minutes, until pale golden.
Allow the biscuits to cool for 5-10 minutes before removing from the baking tray.
